Here at the WCG we are very excited to be planning the 2010 Community Garden Farmers' Market, and are currently looking for volunteers. Whatever your availabity and interest, we could definitely use your help!

Get Involved with the Community Garden Farmers' Market

The Community Garden Farmers’ Market seeks vendors for this season’s Farmers’ Market, which will take place each Saturday starting July 10th, from 8:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m at the Garden. As in previous years, the Winnemucca Farmers’ Market will take place on Thursday evenings at the Garden from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The two Farmers’ Markets are working together to promote local products and talent here in Winnemucca.
 
 

Save the Date: Friends of the Garden Season Kickoff Dinner

The Winnemucca Community Garden's Friends of the Garden Season Kickoff Dinner will be taking place on Saturday February 27th from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Winnemucca Convention Center's East Hall. This is the first chance to get your hands on a plot application as well as to learn about and support upcoming Community Garden programs for the 2010 growing season! There will be a delicious home-cooked meal, live bluegrass music, fabulous raffle prizes and a silent auction.
